Designed for 2-7/8" post

It features a polished aluminum pedestal mount with a fit to the post that virtually eliminates movement between post and swivel and provides a very stable platform for the seat.

The Elite swivel point is not the post, so, once the Elite 278 slide/swivel is tightened on the post there is no need to reach under to the post except to remove the unit.

The Elite swivel for the this unit is designed with a large pivot area that insures stability and the points of attachment of the swivel to the seat mount are spread to add stability and structural integrity. The Elite swivel offer variable locking positions (1 to 8).
